Sean Forney will be here THIS Saturday from 2pm-6pm. We've been selling Sean's prints for over six months now and this weekend is your chance to come and meet him in person. He's bringing more prints and copies of his Scarlet Huntress series. Be sure to stop in and show your support for the indie scene.

Here's a little bit about Sean. He is an established freelance artist that specializes in pin up artwork. He has appeared at several conventions over the years including Pittsburgh, Heroes (in Charolette North Carolina, San Diego and has been a mainstay at both Gem City and Mid-Ohio Con for years).

He is from the Westerville, Ohio area and has created the character the Scarlet Huntress with his wife Stephanie , who writes the book. Scarlet Huntress has appeared in her own ongoing series. Issue # 1 is complete and Stephanie and Sean are currently working on issue #2. Scarlet Huntress appeared in a recently published trade paperback which collects several of her earlier appearances from various anthology books including one story that was written by our friend Chad Lambert.

Sean has also done pin up work for several G.I. Joe books as well as some Star Wars and World of Warcraft projects.

Also visiting with Sean this Saturday is Bryan K. Borgman. Bryan composes licensed soundtracks for various roleplaying games (CyberNet, Mecha Vs Kaiju, Chronicles of Ramlar, Spycraft), miniatures games (Rezolution, Warlands, Pulp City), independent comics (Symphony of the Universe, Slade Chronicles), and independent films (The Screen, Dream Thirteen). He also works part-time for Aberrant, a miniatures game company (Rezolution & Warlands). Some time in the near future he will be collaborating with Sean to compose music for his Scarlet Huntress title.

Also want to mention that we are looking for table-top game players on Sunday afternoons from 2pm-6pm, hosted by Mike Sellers. We play various boardgames and miniature action.

In upcoming event news look for our first year anniversary celebration coming up for the month of March and in May we are havingn a book release party for Springfield's own(imported from Iowa) Andy McGinn with his very first graphic novel The Legacy, which I was privelidged enough to get an advance peak at and thoroughly enjoyed. Look for more news as these events get closer.
